About Room seven

It was fun growing up in a very close and creative family watching my father and mother design and build the Dutch Children's Brand, Oilily.

 

All my life I've been used to seeing fabrics, colours and motifs all around me. I guess this has eventually inspired me to go along the same path of playing with fabrics, shapes, flowers and colours.

 

I started Room Seven in 1994, designing a bedding and accessories collection, when I had my own children in 2003 I began designing clothing collections! What FUN! In 2009 Room Seven B.V. became the licensee for Oilily! So I've been leading the path of design for BOTH Room Seven & Oilily!
